If you placed the PG on a .25 graph paper you can get a good look of what the vectors become then you could transfer those plotted points to create the PG

Hello!
I'm really new to working with drawing programs, and I need a outline drawing of my pickguard to be able to laser cnc it... I have a Yamaha EG112 Guitar, which I bought online for almost nothing. I'm renewing it and want to remake the pickguard on a cnc. The problem I have is that I am not able to get a good outline drawing because I don't have the right programs or skill.
Would someone be willing to create a DXF file of this pickguard for me? I'd be really thankful!

Depends on what program you have ,I scan mine size for size and trace the outline .
I use CorelDraw X8, but I can't get the angles right in any way because I'm terrible with those type of programs.... I can't seem to make the cutouts on the right spots, even when I've already traced the outline of the pickguard on a piece of paper with 0.5 cm squares. I don't know how to really get it right, that's why I'm reaching out to this community
Sure I can do that for you.
Can you get me a photo of it on a solid background? Also add tape measure or something to scale it properly, and lastly be sure the camera is square with the guard.

Is this a trace of the original? If so can I get pic of it set up the same as the outline?

Ok one last request. It makes it ten times easier if it has a high contrast. Can you take one last photo of it on a black background. I'll be sure to get it to you before our weekend is over lol.

Perfect I'll post it soon.

Here is what I came up with. It is not an exact fit, best I can tell. The holes will need resized some as well as the overall shape may need stretched to get a drop on fit.
The Outlined grid photo was pretty close. Just about 2mm or so larger at the bottom right so the camera must have bee a tad closer to the top left (square photos are not easy to take by hand).
If you need more editing just lest me know and I'll do what I can!

I have about 30 DXF pick guard files.
Problem is when I upgraded to Windows 10, I can't use Autocad anymore.
Any ideas?
You fix it for me, I'll make it right for you

I'm terrible at paying retail for programs.
I'm pretty sure I have that pick guard file.
Upgrade to W10 was just stupid.
Mastercam X5 still works, Solid Works is gone along with Autocad.

I should be able to help. Put them in a zip file and upload them and I'll take a look. What format do you need?

Are you asking for AutoCad and Solid Works in a zip file?
Thanks
