Just a few pics of what I've done so far. The body is based on a guitar from a 1959 article in Mechanics Illustrated. Neck was CNC'd. I CNC'd the templates for the body. Body is composite red oak-black walnut. Bolt-on neck is all red oak. 21 frets, 25" scale. This one will get P90 pickups. Tele style tone and volume controls.

Very nice indeed my dad had a bunch of those popular Mechanics books when I was a kid great build have fun ,John.
