    Default Guitar parts g-code

    Hi!

I'm a luthier and I'm very new to cad/cam. I built my own wood router and it seems to run very well. I'm still getting my feet wet with Rhino so I haven't been able to design any guitar parts with it. I just wanted to see if there are any other luthiers out there that might be willing to share some guitar related g-gode? I am primarily a classical builder and some day I hope to be able to write code that would be able to cut out my venetian cut-away soundboard design along with the soundhole and rosette trough all in one cut. Right now I'm trying to design a classical bridge in Rhino.

If anyone has anything related to luthierie I would be very greatfull.

    Ed.

i may not be following what you are asking, basically what you do is draw it in cad and then use cam software to generate the code...if i was to just give you the code, each nc processor has its own parameters so you have to make sure it can read the code...if you have a drawing i can generate the basic code for you, but we would have to talk a lot of specifics

Default guitar / bass nc code

With a suppllied model i would help anyone with some nc code. You would be responsable for an accurate model, tool list and material dimensions.

I will supply accurate code, you would need to add prep codes, tool change, misc codes based on your machine. The tool path itself will be std code.

If Fanuc / Okuma mill - no problem.

    All in fun.

I have offered before but no takers.

I use SW 2005-2009 and all Esprit Packages ( mill, turn, mill/turn, 5 axis, grind and robot, not edm yet ), std and mold.

    Thanks

Yes I'd like g-code to route a tele body with my new small cnc machine - I use the UGS for the code - what questions can I answer?
