hi everybody maybe somebody from cnc teknix in australia can chime in. i have a multitek controller (cnc teknix) with tek10 servos and the deskcnc software connected to one of my mills.but with a high encoder count (got 40641 signals per inch) and low voltage (got only 52vdc) the machine operates only at a very low rapid. (runs good) so i checked the manual about an encoder devider switch and voila there it was.changed it, and got now reasonable feed/rapids. but what i also got was that the machine is now losing positions and i am not talking 1 to 2 thou. 30 thou at a countour with maybe 25 arc movements if the majority of the travel is in x, the biggest loss is in x direction. i set it back to no-devider mode but would still like to know what went wrong thanks hans |
