MC 48 - DNC communication problem

I have acquired a older multicam machine and am having issues with loading programs using the DNC. The controller shows it is a Machine Automation V3.37a m23 i3.58. I did not receive a factory cable so have been using a serial cable with a null modem adapter. It loads small programs up to 2K and runs great, however when loading anything larger it either contains some erratic moves or list an axis as out of range. I assume it lost some data in transfer. Any suggestions?

Go to your port settings, got to advanced and turn transmit to low and receive high. Try that and see what happen...also what are your port setting.

Received and installed factory cable today, settings are 19200 Baud, even parity, 8 bits, 1 stop bit, none on flow control, receive to high, transmit to low. Still not transmitting files over 2k correctly.
