Hello,
I am relatively new to the CNC industry and I have a Multicam 3000 that I have been operating on for about 6-8 months. The previous operator had very little servicing knowledge and knew very little about the machines capabilities.
I have had a few issues:
1. Toolcatcher-The machine is not recognizing the tool so I am having to recatch the tool by hand and because of the misalignment, I have been breaking the toolcatchers and probably putting some trauma on the spindle head
2. Grounding components- I have lost connection with my grounding plate and calibration plate.
I am looking for somebody in the Orange County/ Southern California area to help me service the machine and help me to understand proper maintenance techniques and getting my machine fully calibrated and functioning properly.
I have tried dealing with Multicam West but their customer service has not been very helpful, to say the least.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Sounds like your machine, just needs a little TLC, MCP Services(Atlanta,GA) can provide you with that, I will tell you we are not located in the LA area but I do have customers in West Covina, Seattle, and Vegas and yes I do actually physically do service calls in these locals, as well as phone support for these customers.
If you would like I can provide you with a quote for travel and service, and usually with enough leadtime, we can be quite competitive. If you have any questions, please give me a call.
