Hello guys, has anyone try to cut 3D reliefs using an old CNC machine. Our machine is a Multicam 48 plus, steeper motors. Last week I cut 1 3D model @ 18"x12" size without any problems or issues.
Today I tried cutting another model and noticed that the bit was going deep into the material 1/16", as I show in the images. Few months ago we replaced the all the bearings, new steeper motor and lead screw. My settings for 3D cutting were 180 ipm, plunge 50 and RPM 15,000 I was using styrene foam. I'm able to do 2.5 texture cutting without any issues but I got no good results doing 3D cutting reliefs.
I would appreciate the help of any Multicam tech or *CNC guru*, appreciate your time.
Thank you
