    Manual for the Multicam MG 305?

    Looks like I'm buying a 2001 Multicam MG 305 with an RTF machine. Does anyone know of a place where I can find a manual or any technical documentation that will allow me to understand the machine better?

    Thanks,
    Stefan

    So time has gone by and the project has been slow, but I did buy that machine. At first install a limit switch was bad. Took a while to get that fixed.

    So now the machine starts up and goes through its start-up procedures. I can actually run the test patterns from the shuttle. It all seems to move fine.
    I have 2 problems that I need to figure out next;
    - The ATC is badly aligned, when picking up a tool the y-axis goes just a bit to far and pushes the toolplate in the ATC out of place. If I guide the tool by hand, the Eurospindle (10hp) picks it up fine, but that's not the idea
    - I can't get the machine to see the computer or the computer to see the machine. I'll make a new Cat6 Crossover to make sure that's not the problem. Is there any other way, procedure or special software to establish the link?

    I would love to have the manuals on hand. The help file that came with the machine is limited to say the least. Are these still around original? Or pdf? I'm not looking for free, just for available.

    Thanks,

    Stefan

    Thanks Maurice.
    and yes, plenty of issues, I emailed you a list

    Main problem is the material surface levels magically changing when I go through a tool change in g-code. This makes bits run straight into the table at full speed as they think they have like 16" to go instead of 8",...
    I'm thinking it might be a variable that was released and not reset when I ran the wrong utility to re-align the tool changer and the whole machine locked up and needed a power reset.
    Is there info available of what the values represent that can be found in the NVRAM flash? I don't know what I can check these values against.

    Thanks,
    Stefan
