    What's a good price?

I have an opportunity to purchase a Multicam 5000 60x144 with 8-tool changer, including vacuum and Enroute software. It belongs to the place I used to work, and has been sitting in storage for 2 years. It had been used for about 8 years.
I need to know what would be a starting place for negotiating to purchase it from them, since they have no plans to use it again. I have asked the owners to give me a price, and am waiting to hear back.

    Any thoughts?

I realize there are a lot of variables.

    Hey Frank

I just bought a Multicam 1000 with 7hp spindle, 6 position tool changer and 15hp vac pump. It was $48k new 5 yrs ago and was used a couple of hrs a week and was still set up so I knew it was working well. I paid $20k so that should give you some idea. They usually seem to ask $25k or so for my rig so think I got an OK deal
