    Default Multicam shaky cut

Last couple days my multicam 3000 series has been having shakey cuts when both x and y axis are moving. It ran an error code last week but can't recall what the code was. If it errors again I will write it down. I'm not sure where to start trouble shooting Multicam shaky cut-img_4911-jpg

1st thing to check is your pinions to see if they have extreme wear. If you haven't replaced these in some years they are probably are not engaging into the rack and are causing a lot of backlash, check out your gears 1st. If you don't have any excessive wear there, then it can be between your servo and gearbox.

But I expect your gears to be the problem.

You most likely need a service call to PM your machine, to give it a once over if you haven't had service on your machine in a while.

Give me a call if you would like to set up a service call or if you have any questions
