mori mv-40i trying to brighten monitor

I have a mori mv-40e with a 21i fanuc control can someone tell me how to brighten the monitor

The contrast adjustment should be in the setting page. If the whole screen is too dim, you may need to replace the back light. Color or monochrome?

its a monochrome screen

Then the only adjustment you have is the contrast. Should be on the setting page, may have to page down once, i dont remember. If the whole thing is too dark, you need a new backlight unit, available from Fanuc. The adjustments on the back of the unit will only reverse the display, to all black with white letters.
