    Nv5000 piont speration

We have an Mori NV5000 and use powermill to program we let powermill choose how many pionts to put down so it can range how far they are spread out the closest I have ever seen them is .015 on curves the problem is sometime you can see fasceting on some surfaces. Should the controllor be able to take more pionts? When it was set up we tried pionts spread at .005, .010 but we could not get feeds over 36ipm and 80ipm. When we tried to let powermill do the points and it looked good the guy said good enough.
    Any ideas on this.

Why on earth would you use a point to point for an arc? thats pretty old school. The machine will take as many points as the memory can handle, but if you have exact stop on you will get scalloping no matter what.
