Need Help!- MORI SEIKI SL1

I have a Mori Seiki SL1 lathe with Fanuc 11TE control.We used the machine without a barfeeder and we want to use now with barfeeder.But now we have problem with chuck.Chuck only clamp(M10) but don't want to unclamp(M11) the piece.Before we buy the machine,she was feed by robot hand.Can someone help me?????

Did you check and see if the foot unclamp option is on. I never saw SL1 but I used to run a NL2500Y so assume this machine have same interface, if it is similar it should be it.

where can i check this option? In parameters?

Are you making sure the spindle is stopped before giving the M11 command? If I'm not mistaking there is a command that links the machine to the bar feeder and with out the command it will not work as intended.

Thanks for your help guys.The problem was when machine is in MDI chuck not clamp but in AUTO mode there is no problem.Who knows :-))))
