The Okuma is a full PC, the Mori is an Embedded XP control. Does not as far as I can remember have all the XP stuff required to run on a std PC. Haven't messed with the brand new ones yet, they are on the way. I tried to load the second generation Mapps once on a PC, no dice. |

| The Okuma P100 and 200 are full windows. I had a new ANCA that was windows embedded and you could do all the same stuff as on the Okuma, but had no API functions. i am sure they could be created. On the new Mori, i am not looking for APIs and creating applications right now, just dual monitors, networking, email, inspection reports and set up info. from there i will start spindle probing and generating reports and email as needed. thanks a million and have a great day. |

so far so good. granted i am limited by builder APIs. but am happy to date. All the big things Okuma can do with the APIs and third part software, Mori now offers from builder direct. Funny really, all the money Okuma out into the control, and Mori is still ahead. All bless Dr. Mori!! |
