| My shop currently has 3 NL 2500s. 2 are 2500SY/700 and one is a single spindle with tailstock. They are by far the best machine I have ever used, granted I'm only 19 and have been using them for 3 years but from what I have seen they are the top of the top of the line. I personally have never used CAPPS other than for training. I find it not very user friendly compared to CAM software. I do have some reccomendations for toolholders. For dual stick tools I reccomend Eppinger, very good quality but they are a little more expensive than normal ones. I have never really dabbled in quad holders but I think I may look into that cause I am starting to have issues with open tool stations. |
