    manual chuck on mori lathe

We want to put a manual chuck on our mori nl2000 lathe. We get alot of 1-2 piece jobs and the chuck setup is killing us. We have live tooling. Looking for the best all around chuck for this kind of work, maybe there's a power chuck that would do what we want and not cost a arm and a leg. It takes so long to get your investment back running these kind of jobs.

    Thanks for any help.

How big are the parts? They make S-30 collet chucks that accept a 3" bar. You just use little pads in they take one small screw. you can change from a 3" bar to a .750 hex in about 2 minutes or less.
