Where can I download CAPS simulator for Mori Seiki lathes? Two axis would be fine for now.

    To run on a pc?

Big money I'm afraid. Mori "special" software. Cheaper to buy a generic cam program.

Actually, if you just bought the machine, you can use the training certificate to run Capps on the training site. You should get two license per machine, good for 6 months once activated.

Yes to run on PC, I only want a simulator so I can learn CAPS, doesn't that encourage companies to purchase a machine when more people can use a certain brand of control?

if you have a machine just learn while standing at the control like everyone else does while referencing the manuals that came with the machine.
if you don't have a machine you don't need a simulator.
if you want to know something specific about CAPS ask here. Don't ask general questions like 'how do I program with CAPS' you won't receive any useful answers. A set of CAPS/MAPPS/ISO programming manuals is several thousand pages. That amount of info can't be summarized in a few paragraphs on a forum but a specific question will more than likely get you a nice short specific answer.

You would think so. That's why they give you six months, then you have to buy it. I don't agree with them, but there has to be a reason why they are the largest builder in the world.
