I am trying to figure out if I can initiate a dnc program from the controller to drip feed from pc\dnc software. I would like to identify the program from a macro in the machine. Any help would be appreciated. I would also like to set up a bar code reader to my controller, is this possible?  |

| Not really sure what you're trying to do? I recall reading somewhere (in a Fanuc manual I think) that DNC of a macro is not possible. To do a DNC you have to be in TAPE mode but you cant call a macro from TAPE mode either You also cant run a program in memory and make it switch to DNC mode |
