Need Help! Mori DL20 twin Spindle Live tooling Problem - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net!

We have a DL20 twin spindle, On the left hand turret I can get the live tooling to turn but no axis movement, or the axis's will move but the live tool won't turn. This happens with a program or MDI, The right hand Turret works fine in either mode. Is there a parameter (Control is a MF-D6) that would cause this? It's making me pull my hair out.

did it work before and this problem just happened or has it never worked properly?

btw MF-D6 is Fanuc 16-series control.

It's a long drawn out story but we don't know. We are just now trying to get it to work. In either case I need somewhere to start looking.
