Hi, I'm trying to set up my tool models for the interference checking, and have a problem when I set the tool# to the model (Offset>Manage>Model Info>Cutter1 Ofs. No). After reloading the User Model, X axis looks ok, but Z axis has wandered off about 300mm. So while the Holder (eg. straight er32 collet) stays put on the turret, the endmill is in space, almost at Spindle 2. Our Mori rep is on holidays and I've been told there are no other machines in Aus that have the 3D Check option! Thanks. |

| thanks for the constructive tip, so glad yours wasn't another useless response. I prefer to use the expensive options my employer paid for, rather than have anyone using the machine make a silly mistake which could cause big buck damage. We're all fallible. |
