Need Help!- Mori seiki SL-80

Hi, my problem

When trying to reset alarm 300 both axis, the turret status indicator blinks.
The turret won't index and it's not possible to do anything about Alarm 300.

Please help..

Since they made SL80's for almost 30 years, kinda need to know what vintage machine it is.

Much of this depends on which control the machine is fitted with and how old it is. Newer machines have a different turret control than older machines. One thing you may want to try is positioning the turret so as not to interfere with the spindle or tailstock, and try to manually index to position "1". The reason is that on many Mori lathes, when you manually index to station "1" - you re-orient the turret and reset any alarms that may be associated with it.

Problem solved !!!

Our maintenance guy has put to much grease on the back of the turret when replace after repair, so grease came on sensors.
