Looks like my shop is going to get rid of some OLD machines. Wondering what the going price, or price someone would be willing to pay for an SL-2 mori with a part catcher, 8 tool turret, and a Yasnac 200G single line controller. I was thinking of buying it and retro fitting a new controller on it. Any input would be welcome. |

| Condition is key. Mori's tend to hold value more than other machines because Mori supports older machines. If the ways and mechanics are good, and the machine needs nothing to produce parts, figure $1-2k for an older single line CNC. I bought a 1986 SL3-H with a Fanuc System 11 for $5k including bar feed unit. When you buy one of these older gals, make sure all the bits n' pieces and docs are with it. |
