I am trying to contor around 7/8 bar using a 3/8 endmill and cut a couple radius I have tried using G02/G03 and i get either a radius over tolerance alarm, or a illegal plane axis alarm. If anyone could help i would appreciate it. Here is some of the code: G00 X1.0 Z-1.925 G00 G54 Z-1.952 Y.6277 G01 X-.5 F5. Z-.4035 G02 Z.1386 Y-.2317 I.1591 J-.5003 G01 Z.021 Y-.3571 G02 Z-.2551 Y-.5046 I-.3556 J.3334 G01 Z-.9844 Y-.6253 Z-1.3176 Z-2.0469 Y-.5046 G02 Z-2.3232 Y-.3569 I.0796 J.481 G01 X1.0 |

Looks like you need a plane selection code. G17 - XY G18 - XZ G19 - YZ <------- this one I'd place it with my first G01 Be sure to set it back to G18 at the end of the contour. Also, with a YZ radius, you need to define the arc with J, K. G17 G02/3 XY IJ G18 G02/3 XZ IK G19 G02/3 YZ JK I relates to X J relates to Y K relates to Z Hope this explains it! |
