Alarms 414 and 424 after running 8 hrs

Can anyone tell me what is going on? I have a Sl-25B and after it runs about 8 hours it stops with 414 servo alarm X axis detect error, and 424 servo alarm Z axis detect error. will not clear untill it rest for about 8 hours. I thought it might be overheating so I replaced cooling fans, no change. I no longer think it is cooling issue because if you let it set 2 or 3 hours the errors will not clear. Needs 8 hrs or more. It like its on a timer.

What control? Alpha drives or c series?

How can I tell? the control is a Mori MF-T4 Fanuc 0TC 1990 model year.

The particular faults for 4x4 alarms can be monitored in DGN registers 720 - 723.
for each axis.
The bits that are on indicate the cause of the alarm.
on the C series 730 -737 also have a couple of bits to check.

Man what are DGN registers, where are they and how do you understand their meaning? kp

The 720~723 are found in the Diagnostic screen, they are for each of four axis.
bit 0= OFAL
1=FBAL
2=DCAL
3=HVAL
4=HCAL
5=OVC
6=LV
7=OVL.
You really need the servo maintenance manual for each interpretation, but if you post what they show, I can look them up.
Over heat, Over current etc.

does this machine happen to have seperate detectors. perhaps that would tie the two together if it had an optional seperate detector module that is failing.
