    Unhappy SL-25B W/ FANUC 10T

I just went to fire up a Mori we just got and the memory was lost in the parameters due to the batteries dying. I need to set up the parameters, but when we hooked it up to power, the screen said RAM PARITY ERROR. When I tried to clear by pushing 7 and 9 during power up, it didn't clear the way for me to reach parameter settings. I live in an area of Saskatchewan, Canada where we are three hours from Saskatoon and am geographically isolated from help in person. Could someone from this community please help me with this problem? Fanuc said the main board could be a problem, but the biggest problem for me is the 6k for the new board which may not solve my problem. This machine is an 1989 and the serial # is 1767
    Thanks in advance.

Wow, prices must be high in Canada. I don't have my notes here for the old controls, but seems to me there was another way to initialize memory. Post in fanuc forum as well, some very good fanuc guys on this forum. Last main board I bought for a 11 was 3500, and last bubble upgrade was less than 1500.

Thanks for the advice on where to post this. I am hoping to find a solution that I am financially able to handle for this!
