how to switch this interlock off or maybe there is some setting in the machines control to switch on "bar feeder" option??

No, and no . Barfeed interface still looks at the switches. There is a Ddata to cancel it but.. The machine should not just sit there with M11. You need to adjust the switches on the back of the actuator, it's simply not seeing them and will time out. You can also go in to the custom page, operator panel, and set the clamp confirm to invalid. this will reset to valid every time you hit an M30 though. Best way is to command a M11 in MDI and adjust the switch until the cycle start lamp goes off. Procedure is in the manual if you need it.

hi
there are 4 switches on the chuck actuator as I remember..did you mean them??
I want to add that machine stops on M11 no matter program it has ie M11;M10
It opens jaws and sits?
FYI on the main control panel, jaw clamped confirmation is lit when jaws are clamped and no lit when opened

Should only be two. One should be on during clamp, the other one on during unclamp. There is no unclamp light on the panel. It will sit on a M11 if it does not see the unclamp switch. perfectly normal.

yeap on this machine there are 2
So it looks like it sees "chuck close" switch and doesnt see "chuck open"
Is that what you mean? Why then light on the panel is lit only when I close jaws?

Good advise as always from underthetyre, but remember the switches both need change 1 to 0 (both work) if you have two 1's or two 0's there wont be a "fin" signal.

In your case M11, the bar feed interface looks for the chuck open "fin" signal or it wont try to push the bar out. But if it "see's" the chuck open and closed signal at the same time it also wont push, so you need to check BOTH switches.

I don't know if you have a chuck pressure switch, if so, this must also change state when clamped or unclamped or this can also inhibit the unclamp "fin" signal.

Just a FYI, no chuck pressure switch on Mori's for clamp/unclamp. Only minimum pressure.

You will need to MDI each of those commands first to make sure it was hooked up correctly. /2 is the end of bar block delete. Don't remember the sequence any longer, Probably have it written down somewhere, but it is in one of the programming books.
