Just got a "quote" for replacement brushes from the local Mori distributor... $32 EACH... 4 brushes per motor.... Holy cow!!. That is some markup.

Off the shelf brushes are in the $8-$16 range. The Yaskawa brushes are a non-standard size. So I found a US brush manuf. who will do a custom for $6-$11ea in quantities....

Anyone have a better source, they have used in the past?

Did you try Yaskawa directly? I've had to purchase small tach brushes for my old SL-1 and did so thru Yaskawa. I think they were around $6-$8 per brush. This was aprox. 4 years ago.
