| Expensive. Period. Unless you do A LOT of setups, or dedicated jobs, not worth it IMO. Just think, you break an insert and it boogers up the pocket. Now you have to change the entire holder usually, not just the stick tool. |

| I love them. Sorry but I dont know of brands or suppliers. I've been lucky that the few places I've worked have all had them, except my current shop. I hate walking up to the lathe and seeing any old pieces of scrap under the tool for packing. It's NEVER on centre height. I spent some time on the mill making up packing blocks, all nicely chamfered, all stamped clearly identifying them, and they all disappeared within a week. Probably dropped in the swarf and just left to be shovelled out. A quick change system will keep your tools on height and cutting properly, which I feel is their main benefit.
