Question Mori Seiki Fanuc O-T Alarm 100 p/s

    Hello.

We just got a very nice looking Mori Seiki SL-25B5 with a Fanuc O-T control.
    I have an Alarm 100 p/s.
I can zero out the X and Z and jog them around.
I have absolutely no documentation on this machine (serial number 3432).
How do I figure out what memory has been lost? (out of service for several years)
    I might have a Fanuc O-T manual.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Heath

Alarm 100 is usually when the PWE 'Parameter Write Enable' bit is set, this can be confirmed on the 'Setting' screen.
This will usually put the machine into E-Stop!.
Do you have the parameters on the machine?
900 Options, user par. and diagnostic counter/timers in either hard or soft copy?

It won't estop a Mori. You can even hit cancel and reset at the same time and the alarm will clear, allowing full operation of the machine.

You still will need to eventually turn off PWE in the settings page.

If you have the right 0T version you should be able to trouble shoot that with the on screen ladder display.
It is turned on by a user parameter if it is displayable.

Mori usually has a displayable ladder. Sometimes it asks for a password, type in "L" then hit input. Post the alarm and i can help.
