Need Help!- mori seiki sl-25 overtravel

Hey I recently purchased some late 80's sl-25 lathes. I have over-traveled x axis and can not figure out how to release. I have several mazaks, but these are so different than mazatrol. Thanks in advance!

Press the overtravel release button (next to comm port), while holding it down, press control on button, select handwheel mode and back off limit.

You have to press 'emergency release' + 'reset' + 'power on' while jogging away from limit switch.

You'll probably need two people.

I have a mazak qt10 lathe with the t1 control. when I start the machine and home it, it homes flawlessly. After homing the machine I try to move off home Z- it instantly alarms overtravel Z- 046 alarm. thanks for your help in advance.
