    Mori Seiki Lathe SL35 Q-setter

Good day. I have an SL35 that I'm having a problem with the Q-setter. Normally when I put the arm down, the page automatically opens to the setting page. It doesn't do it anymore. Not only that, when I push the pb to go to the Q-setter page, it doesn't display the proper tool that's in place, for measurement. I'am also getting a "WSFT" flashing in the lower left hand corner of the screen. We bought this machine used, a long time ago, and it came with no books so I have no information to study. Thank you for your help.

There is a limit switch that reads when the arm is up. It is located in the slot where the latching mechanism goes into. It may be stuck and still thinks the arm is up. Spray some WD on it to loosen it up, or it may be damaged. Seen the problem on a SL-15 a couple of days ago.
