Yasnac 2000b Parameters Mori Seiki

I need help with several problems with my Mori Seiki SL-1 with Yasnac 2000b control. The control has failed yet another time. This time it will not accept programs via the BTR and results in an alarm 14 - illegal G code. I can enter from MDI but G96 and G97 will not go into memory. I am trying to do a reset of memory and parameters. Then on to investigating the boards. The battery is fine and the parameters from 71-98 are ok.

1.) Do any of you have parameters from 1-70? Mine are all blank and I think a Yaskawa tech told me that I will only have 71-99. If you do can you tell me what your settings are?

2.)Do you have to put the system rotary switch to 5 during entry of parameters below 70? My book says enter parameters with switch on 1 but the book is for 2000G and Yaskawa tech says 5.

3.) What do you have entered for parameter 99?

Not just a parameter. You will need to do a few wiring changes. I know I have the how to at home somewhere, not sure if i have one that old though.

I have a parameter list for 2000g Control. Not sure if this is compatable with 2000b or not. If you want it let me know and I'll get it for you.

Thanks for the consideration but I have torn down the control and am in the retrofit process. I am using a PLC from Automation Direct and a new control from Mach Motion with Mach 3. A lot of learning going on...
