MV65 - Intermittent EX0256

Hello,

MV65 mill has a intermittent EX0256 - "Magazine index time over" error. Once or twice a day.

Usually reset thru moving the magazine in manual mode CCW and CW. Sometimes needs to power off/on



Any ideas?

I know this thread is several months old, but maybe an answer will help future users. I believe in the magazine there is a mechanical switch that is pushed up at each tool then comes back down. It tells the machine which pod number it's at each time it raises up. Overtime this gets covered in coolant oil and gunks up. In turn it gets stuck open. Which is why it releases when moving magazine back and forth. Just hit it with some spray lubricant to loosen it up. Then when you get some time it is a good idea to clean the whole thing out real good.
