Are there limit switches for the axis or are they integrated in the glass scales?

    kind regards
They can be parameter soft limits or sometimes use a marker on the scale. Or even an end limit switch.

Can you post an electrical drawing of an axis page ?

The drawing do not show any switches, just motor encoder and scale.

There may be a reference switch on an input drawing. Ref X schalter for example.

With incremental scales there can be a switch, with absolute scales, usually not.

Increment scales would need a switch at the end of the axis travel.

With absolute scales the axis normally only needs to travel across several markers to know it's position.

Both cases a zero shift parameter to optimize the zero position.

If you reference your machine on each power up then yes, it touches the limit switch, then travels to the home pulse on the scale.
