Default SERVO ALARM 401 REPEATING IN MORI SEIKI

    FRIENDS,

WE HAVE ONE MORI SEIKI LATHE WITH FANUC 6T CONTROLLER.

RECENTLY WE HAD SERVO ALARM 401 AND WE HAVE REPAIRED THE DRIVE.

AFTER REFERENCING WE SWITCHED ON THE AUTO CYCLE AND AGAIN WE GOT THE ERROR 401.

THE DRIVE IS REPAIRED FOR ALMOST 3 TIMES.

THE PRDY LED IS JUST COMING AND THEN EXTINGUISHED.THE MAGNETIC CONTACTOR IS NOT HOLDING.THERE ARE NO OTHER ALARM LED'S LIT.

WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM AND ANY SOLUTIONS.

    THANKS,

    CHANDRU

Have you checked the motor commutator and brushes and any ground condition?

Smile Fanuc 6T Axis drive alarm

Procedure for installation for the Fanuc 6 T Axis card
These procedure are applicable only with = Fanuc A20B-0007-036 SERIES OF CARDS
Check the voltage on terminal= CN2
Check the fuses F7,F8 & F9 IN X AXIS CARD.
    Check the R 39 (1 ohms fusible resistance)in x axis card.
Check the Terminal voltages across =
    CH 15 = +24V
    CH 16 = +15V
    CH 17 = -15V
    CH 15 = +24V
Check the SW1 = Must be set on 50 Hz side in Indian power conditions.
Check the connector cable = Ribbon cable = between CN 7 of X axis to Z axis card.
Check the jumper settings As we discussed on telephone.
Check the voltage of Pin no 10 of CN 3 that must be between 17 to 21 V in each axis.
If this voltage is missing than The SCR module may be faulty.
    • Check the status of LED placed on board.
    • Check the mechanical Break and its applied voltage in X axis motor.
    • Check the connection between CN1 to CAV of master PCB.
    Move the RV1 and RV2 to make DGNOS PARM = 801= 0(X AXIS) AND 800 = 0 (X AXIS)
if still you have difficulties mail me on prabhatmishra@mail.com or call me on +91-9430737981 (www.prabhatmishra.unitedstates.com)
