Hello, I’ve got a Mori seiki zl25m10 that sat for several years that I’m trying to revive. Most things seems to function but I’ve hit a wall as when I attempt to index the lower turret it pops out then very slowly turns. It turns slightly less than 1/8 of a rotation and will not properly align to sink back in when it times out. I can repeatedly attempt to index the turret and it will occasionally line up but it does not ever recognize that it has reached the appropriate position, so I have my green light over the turret index knob flashing. The face will occasionally seat properly, but only after timing out.
We have a MF-D4 Fanuc 0TTC controller.
The turret only rotates one direction.
I am hoping to fix it properly but if that is not feasible I would not mind only being able to perform tool changes on my top turret if there were a way to convince the controller all was well.
