Copy/paste editing of a program

The lathe in question is Mori Seiki SL-303 with MSG-501 controller: Is there a way to copy multiple lines from a program and then paste them elsewhere? How do you do it?

If it's G-code you are talking about or any other text file, then Notepad works fine. That is my goto G-code editor.

I'd rather not use a PC for a simple editing. How do you copy and paste on the screen of the lathe in EDIT mode? Is this even possible?
