    Default Cnc makers retrofit?

Has anyone had an experience with a cnc makers retrofit kit? I was thinking about purchasing one for my mori seiki sl1 because the price is right $4,300.00 for the whole kit, controller, servo motors with encoders and drives, spindle motor with drive all the cables everything! I thought it was a pretty good deal compared to some of the 20k and 30k kits out there

Did you ever get any info about CNC Makers? I'm looking to do a full SL1 Retrofit as well. Any advice?

I ended not going with them and did my own retrofit with mach 4.

They seem legit, but I have a feeling it's not plug and play as they elude to. Not that there's anything wrong with that. They're in China so tech support is always going to take a full day to get a response and what if they don't understand what you're asking you're kind of SOL because of the language barrier.

I went with companies that have call in tech support.
