I see that some of the wiring pictures on many of the builds show twisted pairs and some are just tied together. Which need to be twisted pairs and do any need to be shielded? I've finally got my limit switches mounted and plann to use them as homing switches, also. If anyone has any tips on running the wiring, please let me know.
I don't make mistakes ... I make 'unintended engineering design changes'.
Hi ref772 ,
depending on how sensitive your system is to electrical noise
you can use twisted pairs to connect your home and limit switches ,
in designs like the Momus machine ,as the cable lengths are so short
breakout boards that filter out the noise also helps
just keep the stepper motor and splindle motor wiring seperate from the switch wires
