    Default Timing Pulleys

    Hi Folks,

I purchased my stepper motors for my build and I have a little problem. The motors I purchased have a 3/8" shaft. It looks like the 10 tooth timing pulleys that I can purchase from Small Mechanical Components: Precision Gears, Gear Assemblies, Timing Belts, Timing Belt Pulleys and Couplings - SDP/SI come with a .250 max bore. Are there any other sources for the timing pulley that I can look at or should I return the motors I have for ones with 1/4" shafts? Thanks.

Have you tried eBay? I plan on buying a lot of my part on there.

You can't find 3/8 shaft 10 tooth timing pulleys because with that diameter shaft the hub would not have enough meat left on it for a set screw. A 10 tooth timing pulley is a small pulley
