injection mold basics help

I’m decent at machining, CAD, and CNC but I haven’t made any injection mold tooling before. Want to learn how to do it over just sending out to some place to get done. The first part that I want to do is this -

It’s pretty simple I think. Would anyone be willing to mentor / advise me on making the mold? Does anyone do injection molding and would be willing to advise me on the mold and then I’ll do my run through you? Also any basic thoughts on the piece regarding making a mold for it would be helpful. Is there a standard block size? Where should sprues etc go? I assume the block would be big enough for a bunch of my small piece in one? Etc?
