Bodega,

Yes, the color can be gotten on the injection molded parts. If you need only one color non-thunder-and-lightning, you could directly molding out the parts from injection mould with right color material. If you need thunder-and-lightning color on the injection molded parts, you might need painting on the appearance, furthermore need printing for the pattern such as the logo or letter.

anyway, with your samples or drawings request, I suggest that you need get some prototypes first, for selecting right material and color trial. Then start project when color and mateiral is determined, that's a way for saving cost.

Let me know your information, and we would like to help.

Regards,
Michael

I too am looking for an injected molded fishing lure. I am almost in the same situation as bodega, but I don't care what color the lure comes in as I will have them painted. I do however want the bait to sink.

I will be using them for muskie fishing so I am looking for larger bodies. I might be able to use an existing mold if you have one but am not sure.

I am looking for 2 different body styles in 3 different sizes each. The first style would be in the shape of a bluegill and the second would be in the shape of a cigar or a skinny perch. The sizes for the bluegill would be in the 4", 6", and 8" range with the perch style in the 6", 8", and 10" range.

I can be reached by phone at 574-551-0214 or email at vweirick@kconline.com.

Thanks,

Vince

I had no idea that fishing lures were produced using Plastic Injection Molding. I was under the impression they were made of wood. The fishing lures you are mention are made overseas correct? What type of equipment are you manufacturing with?

We used to produce all of mans bait companys lures before they started doing everything inhouse. My old man invented the pre cnc system of matching up the lure halves with the old tracer technology. Our shop is very busy right now but if you have any questions feel free to ask.
