Rapid mould

I need up to 3000 small housings for electrinc devices made from plastik, the size of two mobile phones put together, I've seen a number of businesses offering quick moulds (3-4 weeks) I understand made of aluminium, does it really work?

That is a small number of components. If you have ever seen the Humbrol Chocolate money box on sale in argos. the mold for that is made of Aluminium and it has made in excess of 1,000,000 mouldings so aluminium would be ok.
