Im trying to find out the FORCE (LBS) / INCH on the dme spings.....or how to figure it out I need two times the slide weight on preload...but I'm not sure how to figure that out, since there is no constant.... |

| The amount of force is determined by the spring size. The catalog has listed the force per 1/10". How much does the slide way? 2X seems like alot of preload.

| in my customer standards they say; spring preload force to greater then 2x slide weight. and the slide weighs 70 lbs I was looking at that row in chart, but i thought that the value would increase as the spring was being compressed..... |
