    test mold in aluminum

    would any of the pros plz take a look at my 'hello world' injection mold and make a critique?

    i have a 2 oz pneumatic machine for this and will test it soon as i replace one of the heaters that blew up and welded itself inside...ugh..

    Are you going add dowel pins to make the holes in the parts?

    there's about 35 pins , yeah - a couple in the middle of the squares are just alignment, not touching the plastic part
    i will knock some of the sharp edges off, too, where appropriate - just burnish a bit to round

    could you give some more information on where to find hobby-size injection moulding machines and what they cost etc ?
    what are the considerations/limitations when making a mould ?
