    Meldas M50 PLC programming

    Hi,

I would like to prevent the spindle from running when the tools in pods 19 and 20 are selected. I have already figured out which registers are involved and I have already added simple logic to the ladder. Now I need to compare a register value to a constant. I have seen these operations in the ladder, eg. [ = K3 D200 ]. How do I input this from the controller? I have tried to copy the string literally but the on-board programmer won't accept it. I do not have a programming tool so I have to do the programming from the controller interface, using the on-board PLC programming tool.

How would you input eg. [= K19 R500]?

R500 becomes K19 when you get to tool 19?

    Then I think syntax would be [D= K19 R500].

    Cheers.
