Hi Guys,
Trying to get drip feeding to work, but I don't have anyone in the real world to ask, and basic instructions online are scarce, so I'd appreciate a hand!
I've got upload/download to work, so I thought great, set the tape device to the same as the input/output device in the I/O parameter, go to tape mode, type program number, send from pc, press input, easy money. Not so.
I've tried this, it just says 'not found', I've also tried dev(1) as well as dev(0).
Could you tell me where I can find, or tell me, the basic instructions to get this to work, so I can work out if its a parameter setting or if I'm just doing it wrong.
Many thanks!
CNC Parameters
On the RS232 parameter page, choose the device column you
are going to use for your PC and make sure the following
settings apply:
2 to 2 - 4800 (baud)
3 to 1 (1 stop bit)
4 to 0 (no parity)
5 to 1 (even parity)
6 to 3 (8 data bits)
7 to 5 (any two characters ends transmission)
11 to 3 (DC Codes)
12 to 0 (no DC Code Parity)
13 to 3 (DC2/DC4 output)
14 to 1 (CR output)
15 to 0 (ISO output)
18 to 0 (no vertical parity check)
(note: The Mitsubishi Meldas can appear deceiving. The
parameters will appear not to match between the PC and CNC.
This is expected)
