Anyone have pics/specs for 8x14 Scale Mounts

I have seen a few pics of mounted scales here in one of the threads, but does anyone have good pics and a design to mount scales to the 8x12?

I'd be interested in the same, I have a Schumatech built and just haven't had a chance to really work on mounting the scales.

I really am most concerned about the compound scale, I have some idea on that but again... need to find the time.

The lathemaster group on Yahoo has some good pics and info on scale mounts too... not so much plans, but it gives you some ideas.

There is a poster who posted great shots of the scale mounts on his 8x14.
I thought i had saved the pics, but can't find them. It might have been on candlepowers forums. At any rate the Z scale was mounted in the rear and the X was mounted on the chuck side.

For mounting a compound scale, I was considering removing the PCB from the scale slide, and insetting it in to a milled groove on the compound.

Then dissassemble the scale head and removing the LCD and buttons and just using the scale circuit and mounting it so it rides the side of the compound over the inset scale. (With the DRO, you don't need batteries, the LCD or the buttons from the front.)
