Hi, I am thinking about converting my 7x10 to use collets...... (faster changing...) and i hae a couple questions i am thinking i am going to buy this http://littlemachineshop.com/product...ProductID=2240 and some 3c collets like these http://littlemachineshop.com/product...ProductID=1991 now i have to make a drawbar to pull the collet into the collet adapter to grab the bar i am going to machine...... Now for 20 Questions 1. what is the thread count on the 3c collet 2. when i loosen the collet to change the material what are the chances the adapter is going to come out of the spindle instead of the collet coming out of the adapter...... (wondering if the collet will get stck in the adapter) 3. is there anyone that has used this adapter and as opinion on how they work...... Thanks Mike |
