Hi all. Any one have the 8 x12 lathe from Harbor freight. it's only
$500.00 . I was looking at purchasing a 7 x 10 and then I seen this one. Shipping weight is 260 lbs vs. 85 lbs and I kinda like the belt drive over the variable, I think the belt drive would have more power. Any thoughts?

Cncfreak,

Grizzly Tools has the same size for the same price. I think that you would get better service from them. Not sure how the shipping compares.
